Exploring what it’s like in a modern day mind The Paper Planes I Made For You is a deep dive into everything inside our own heads.
It’s at times challenging, exploring mental health and anxiety by externalising the inner thoughts and memories of the observed.
This externalisation is done with creatures called the Spiders, they exist in the shadows and speak with voices from the past as well as the protagonists own.
Written and Directed by Ash Dorman. Originally an actor Ash has been exploring other ways of telling stories. Having been mostly focused on film, writing this play originally as part of a screenplay, Ash was surprised when The Paper Planes I Made For You slowly but surly crawled into the front of his mind and refused to leave.
